Lauren Sanderson joins Razzbri
Say hello to our new Talent & Marketing Coordinator Lauren. Lauren is our token Brit and has been living in New Zealand for over 2 years. With a background in creating content across multiple platforms and her outgoing outlook on life – we knew she would fit right in here at Razzbri. Lauren’s passionate about creating content and is excited to tackle all things Digital. Before she takes on the Digital world, we dug a little further to find out more about our new Marketer.
As a Brit, what’s your favourite thing about New Zealand?
I love the culture and everyone is so chilled out here. Compared to the hustle and bustle in London, New Zealand is peaceful even in the big cities. Plus, everywhere you look there is amazing scenery. #pictureperfect
What’s your Favourite season?
I am 100% a summer baby. I was born in July so in the UK its summer but here it’s winter – which is still pretty weird.
What book do you have on your coffee table right now?
I have two – Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban (I haven’t read any of the Harry Potter books – don’t judge) and Eat, Prey, Love. They’re very different, but imagine them merged together – that would make an interesting read.
What is the 7th last picture you have on your phone?
It’s of me playing the didgeridoo, well attempting to.
You are a new addition to the crayon box, what colour would you be and why?
My favourite colour is green – so I think I would have to be a blend of yellow and blue and maybe throw in some glitter.
What do you like to do to keep active?
I like running, I actually completed by first half marathon in April – It was super fun!
Coming from a content background, What is the most exciting thing you’ve written about?
I interviewed Ronan Keating and to me that was a biggie! I was majorly fangirling, I kept stuttering and I was going to ask him to sing my mum happy birthday, but I thought it may be a tad inappropriate.
What’s your guilty pleasure?
I love reality TV – so bad but so good! Especially Love Island.
If you were a cereal, which cereal would you be?
Oh that’s a hard one. Growing up I loved weetabix (here they’re called weet-bix), I would have hot water and a dash of milk with it and lots of sugar! So, I would say that because it’s slightly weird but does the job.
You have been asked to throw an event to celebrate the Queen’s birthday, what would the night look like?
It would have to involve English Breakfast Tea, of course and scones. Essentially it would be a tea party but more like the mad hatters tea party in Alice in Wonderland.
What excites you the most about joining Razzbri?
Definitely the company culture and the opportunities for growth and development. I am someone who loves to constantly be learning and I know Razzbri wont be short of that. It feels great to be on board!
